Bought a boat with no title?
I bought an out of state (Delaware) 12 foot aluminum jon boat with NO TITLE. The guy I got it from said he was given it for work rendered with no title (years prior) and that it had registration stickers on it from the late 70′s when he was given it!. I was given a bill of sale.What else do i have to do in order to use it in Maryland water? I was thinking of putting an electric motor on it….No trailer
not sure there…here u can use it without title or registration as long as u have no motor on it…the second u put a trolling motor or regular motor on it u have to register it…..so unless u like paddling u need to get a title…
** follow ur states process for abandoned vehicle title……usually takes about 90 days and can cost up to 300 but usually its under 150…..
